KARPAL SINGH... "Ada 100 laporan polis dan dua peluru saya terima... barang kali ini rekod dalam dunia. Saya mahu tahu di mana Pemuda Umno, celaka ini dapat dua peluru yang dihantar kepada saya.
"Siapa buat semua laporan polis... saya beri amaran kepada Pemuda Umno jangan main-main dengan saya. Saya Singh dan Singh is King," katanya dipercayai merujuk filem Bollywood Singh Is Kinng.
Bolle Bolle...
In the Parliament:-
"Where did the celaka (damn) Pemuda Umno fellow get the bullets?" he asked.
Puad Zakarshi (BN-Batu Pahat), Datuk Ismail Mohamed Said (BN-Kuala Krau) and Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan (BN-Kota Belud) immediately demanded a retraction.
Karpal: "No I am not accusing anyone in particular. Don't play the fool with me. I am speaking the truth here. They demonstrated in front of my home in Penang," he said, leaving little doubt who he thought sent the bullets to him.
"Singh is King. Umno Youth, don't play with me. Article 181(2) of the Federal Constitution clearly states no proceeding shall be commenced in a personal capacity, except in special court. Read the Constitution. I am clear," he said on his aborted plan to take the Sultan of Perak to court over the appointment of a new menteri besar for Perak.
By now the backbenchers were repeatedly demanding that Karpal stop using the term celaka against the Umno Youth.
"It is unparliamentary language. He should retract it," demanded Rahman, who is also the Umno Youth secretary
Deputy Speaker Datuk Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar instructed Karpal not to use the word.
He had to repeat himself several more times before Karpal agreed.
"Okay, okay I will retract, but that does not change anything about Umno Youth."
Karpal continued in the same vein and made known his views on the judiciary, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission and the police.
He rounded up by giving his oft-repeated warning remark in the house: "Don't play with me (Jangan main-main)."
Earlier, Karpal at the start of his speech, tried to clear the air over his recent remarks on Pakatan Rakyat and opposition leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
"I don't have any misunderstanding with him. I accept him as a leader of Pakatan," he said.
He refused to entertain calls for clarifications from backbenchers as Karpal had previously called on Anwar to step down as opposition leader.
"That is none of your business," he said in his dismissive tone.

to certain extent, i do agree that some umno flers are celaka...they are very selective and their fight against those "derhak" towards the sultan is very selective. While UMNO could threat Ahmad Said with disciplinary action for abiding with the instruction of the palace, the non UMNO members just can't do the same.
ReplyDeletePilih la antara dua wadah yg cuba di bawa mereka iaitu "politik itu kotor" atau "politik tu harapan".
ReplyDeleteBukan hanya gitu je..malah sudah letakkan PM in waiting walhal Agung yg berkuasa tetapkan.....so, durhaka or durjana?
"Some" UMNO of course ada yg celaka. Some non-UMNO also got the same attitude and far more than that. The incident against Terengganu palace was an embarrassment but inclined due to misinterpretation and exploitation by their rival. Please note, the moment was not only UMNO vs Non-UMNO, but more towards PakLah + Idris Team vs Non PakLah (Umno Mat Said) + Non-UMNO.
ReplyDeleteThe sepanduk containing word "Kami Nok Idris, Natang!" ... was most foolish one. The word Natang probably refers to Mat Said's supporters, not to istana.
As usual, this is politic as in your blog entry - both are not to be trusted.
I reserve my comment...
ReplyDeleteYes, I read about the word “natang” refers to Ahmad Said and his supporters but I still believe that it is indirectly refers to the palace. Perhaps, the word “natang” was made because Ahmad Said went against the wish of Pak Lah but in doing so, not only he went against the President’s wish but he also followed the wish of the Palace. So, indirectly, the word “natang” also meant to the palace.
ReplyDeleteBut I agree with you, whether it is BN or PR, they are both the same. There is a phrase –if you can’t choose between 2 evils, then choose the one that less evil but in case of PR and BN, to me, they are equally evil.
Anyway...gambar aku buat tu lawa x?
ReplyDeletedisagree that both are evil. in btw u, there must be one who is right. Truth can be hidden. It depends on us to find out. We vote for them and if they are evil, then we are the mother of evil.
ReplyDeleteWe say PR is non-sense. They are just in powers for 1 term in most states, of course..lots of misintepretation and hay wire because we biasa with BN system. But for those who are in power for 51 years and still talk bull shit, they are worse.
Of course no party is perfect. If both evil, then dont vote for both evil. Create a new platform and that's it, vote for good things.
Org politik byk karenah perjuangan dan mereka tak putus asa. Tetapi rakyat yg ngundi mudah sgt putus asa. that's my 2 sen opinion. Maybe we all wrong for trusting them to much, maybe we all wrong for trying to cuba-cuba vote for alternative. so, who is the real evil,we or them?
Pantang melayu derhaka pada RAJA. Sumpah dijunjung. Hukum SULA lah belaka kepada semua pengkhianat bangsa..
ReplyDeletePul, gambo tu..molek
ReplyDeletealah, korang refer jer dialog p ramlee ngan aziz satar dlm seniman bujang lapok, "akulah raja" "raja apa?" "raja kapoor" "hei raja kapoor, kenape muka kau mcm tepong gomak?""apa da gomak". hambek ko...
