Asyura

Muharram, the first month of the year according to the Muslim calendar, will be greeted with the play "Ashura" during which the traditional ashura desert that is made from various kinds of fruits , beans and cereal will be prepared and shared with the audience. According to the Islamic lunar calendar, ''the day of Ashura'' corresponds with the 10th day of Muharram. Ashura features greatly within the world's three major religions and conveys a great deal of meaning to many people.
